He found that the bottom 50% of items were only 1% of sales. He also looked at Europe versus the United States and found 2.5 times the complexity. He would recommend reviewing your new product introductions and determining the cost of doing this versus a 0% chance of success. You have about a one-in-a-thousand chance of a new product becoming an “A item.”
