Building the Green Supply Chain – 2014

RESEARCH OVERVIEW:

  • Objective: To understand the current state of corporate social responsibility or sustainability goals and their alignment with supply chain programs.
  • Highlight: The most common brand claims center on the use of recycled materials and yet, the worst performance in measurement is in the area of tracking recycled content.
  • Survey Details: The research for this report was conducted in two waves: Wave 1: January 15 – February 20, 2013; Wave 2: March 12 – June 22, 2014. It is based on online surveys conducted among Manufacturers, Retailers and Distributors who have corporate social responsibility or sustainability goals (2013: n=66, 2014: n=65).
