How Do We Heal the Healthcare Value Chain?

RESEARCH OVERVIEW:

  • Objective: To understand how we can drive more value into supply chain process and reduce overall costs for healthcare.
  • Highlight: The hospital organization is drowning in data. They are trying to drive insights from data. While the mission is clearer on what defines supply chain excellence than for other industries, getting, using and maintaining data is an obstacle for the hospital to drive more value in the healthcare value chain.
  • Survey Details: The research for this report was conducted during February – April 2013. It is based on an online survey among 68 healthcare providers. NOTE: Other groups were included in this survey but will be reported on separately.
