Insights on Building a Healthcare Value Network

RESEARCH OVERVIEW:

  • Objective: To understand how we can drive more value into supply chain processes and reduce overall costs for healthcare.
  • Highlight: The healthcare industry is stuck and with new regulation and taxation restrictions, redesign is critical. By working together and understanding the basics of supply chain management, quick and powerful improvement is possible, but it will take work from both healthcare providers and their suppliers.
  • Survey Details: The research for this report was conducted from February 7 – September 28, 2013. It is based on an online survey among 68 healthcare providers and 37 healthcare manufacturers (24 medical/surgical and 13 pharmaceutical.
